150 SeaClone protien skimmer

HI, I have 150 galleon tank on June 11th I filled it up and put 15 medium fish. Water is clear.I put in 150 Seaclone protein skimmer on July 30th.and no scum goes to the top
of collection cup.

This is a freshwater tank with a protein skimmer? Freshwater aquariums generally don't need protein skimmers like Marine aquariums do. The reason saltwater tanks have such a system is to remove excess proteins in the water to help keep the aquarium a bit cleaner along with water changes, this is important because many marine creatures need perfect water conditions to thrive.
