Question
This may be a stupid question, but I need the answer, if possible. Should the light in the aquarium be turned off at night, or is it allright to leave it on all the time.

Thanks in advance,
JIM

Answer
Hi Jim;

I usually recommend the lights be turned off at night so the fish can rest. I have one of mine on a timer to come on at 6 am and go off at 9 pm. (It's in a separate room and I don't always remember to go turn it off or on at a specific time.) Even though fish can't close their eyes they do rest at night.
