Gourami Fish compatibility

Hi, I just had my 80 gallon fish tank fixed and I wanted to add fish into it. In another tank of about 55 gallon, I have 2 opaline gourami, 2 gold gourami, 1 giant gourami (10inch), 1 black ghost knife fish (4 inch) and 2 plecos (4 - 5 inch). They were all in the 80 gallon before tank fixing.

I intend to move the gold and opaline gouramis, knife fish and 1 pleco into the new tank and I also wanted to add more fish into it. Can you help me check if the following can be added? Thanks.

2 or 3 dwarf gourami
4 angelfish
2 pearl gourami
6 glass catfish?
1 elephant nose?

Is there any other fish that I can add to accompany the giant gourami?? Thanks.

Hey There

You can have:

The gold and opaline gouramis.
Knife fish
The pleco
The glass catfish
Elephant noses need to be in groups of three or more so get three :)
3 dwarf gouramis


I would say that would be your limit because as the fish grow you would have some big fish.

I wouldn't get the pearl gouramis as they are really shy and would get bullied by all the other gouramis.
