Fantail

Hi I just changed the water and cleaned the tank 2 days ago-It was long overdue. One of the 2 fantails has a lump and what looks like swelling in the top fin at the base. the other died last night. I can see a blood line in the fin also. Any suggestions to save the last one as my 4 year old son is very upset? I used the stuff to make the water safe.

Probably septicemia... Treat it with triple sulfate or any other antibiotic that lists septicemia on its label.  This would be caused by poor water quality so make sure the tank water is cleaned at least once per week.  A second filter on the tank will help a lot... dave
