Tropical Fish Parasite

Question
I have a guppy and a molly that have a gray thing hanging from the base of their fins.  It is about a quarter inch long and forks at the end slightly.  I have searched the Internet and I can't find what it is or what to do about it.  I got both fish from the same market.

I believe what you have is anchor worm... google search the term to compare it with what you have - just to be sure... there's something callled livebearer cure - reddish-pink medicine that comes in a transparent squeeze bottle with a green cap. Alternately your LFS will be able to suggest something from the medication lineup they carry. Dimlin or Anchors Away are popular products...
