Question
Hello, I was wondering how big a tank for a pair of oscars needs to be? can any sort of algie eater live with these guys? what do these eat? I've heard goldfish... can they eat anything else?

Answer
For a pair of oscars you will need at least a 110 gallon tank. They recommend that each oscar has 55 gallons of room.
Pretty much any algae eater will work.Just make sure that it is around the same size as the oscars in the tank.If not they will try and eat it.And oscars do eat goldfish,
but you can also feed them staple flake food. With goldfish
you need to make sure that they are healty. An oscar can get sick real easily. An infected gold fish could cause your oscars to get what they call hole in the head disease.
This disease can be fatal to your oscar. If this ever happens that they do get this disease get yourself some paragon from your local pet store. If you catch it in time your oscars will be saved.

Good luck with you oscar adventures.

If you need anything else don't hesitate to ask.I will help you in anyway i can.

Thanks for asking
