I have two parrots, in a 14 gallon tank, that I've had since last feb and the smaller of the two is going spastic and swimming upside down. I have tested the water and the only thing I see wrong is the hardness is low. Would this be the cause? The other parrot seems to be fine.

is the parrot fish pooping? what is he eating? what are the values of the water chemistry???? I would change about 25% of the water, clean the gravel and make sure its not a toxin. If your parrot is still eating you can try him with brine shrimp and you may want to medicate with general cure. dave
