cichilds

Question
I have a cichlid Tank. My tank has been set up for about a year and the newest addition to my tank is 3 months old. recently i have noticed that all the inhabitants of the tank swiming in a tight cluster no matter what side of the tank it is. they also like to swim like this in the top front corner of the tank. I know cichilds are aggressive so why the grouping?

hi heather....

your curiousity with their behaviour is not unusual.  they are simply reconizing the hand that feeds them and are thinking it is mealtime when they see u, i know this because mine to the same to me, despite the fact that i have several cichlid tanks, including a 125gal tank
