Bought medium sized fish bowl with filter and all the trimmings. Got two shubunkins. everythimg fine for couple months and then one suddenallly died. bought another shubunkin couple  weeks later and all was good again for couple weeks and then the new one died suddenally. first one that died nether looked very active so wasnt too suprised but the second one was very active and always happy swimming with the other one almost like they were playing. Seems a little weird as we only feed them 2 pellets each twice a day so not to over feeding them. always checked water was good and filter working. All thereys would be gratefully apprieciated.

In regards to checking the water, was that by testing? I ask because often if unchecked goldfish can poison them selves being the produce quite a bit of ammonia. Did you notice anything else on the outside of the fish? You can also add aquarium salt to the tank, a small amount of course, but this will help them keep the slime coating which is protective for them and add electrolytes to the water. If you would like to get back to me with answers to my questions hopefully I can better direct you in what may have happened.
