going on vacation

We are planning a 4 day vacation then 2 days home then another 4 day  vacation and I've been doing a lot of research but I'm coming up with  mixed advice on how to feed my fish.  I have one fantail goldfish in a 10
gallon tank.  Currently I feed him 2 times a day, he usually eats 5 or  6 pieces of goldfish crisps purchaed at Meijer.  Can you provide any  advice on feeding him while I'm gone?  Thanks in advance!!

go to your local shop and purchase a bunch of anachris(elodea) feed the fish as you normally would.
put the plant in, just let it float.
The goldfish will munch on the plant while you are gone and will be fine.
