Question
hi,i recently got a peacock spiny eel and to be honest i presumed it would eat flake food but since have found out different!i started feeding it frozen blood worms which it loved,my question is how often should i feed it bloodworms and is safe to keep with my cardinal tetras?

Answer
Hello Olga:  I feed my eels once per day with a generous helping of live worms.  You can feed your eels twice per day with an amount it will eat in about ten minutes.  Eels chew their food slowly so make sure the other fish are not eating up his food.  Unless the eel is more then a foot long it should not bother your neon tetras... dave
