species compatible with parrot fish

Question
At the risk of sounding like an uneducated, spur-of-the-moment pet owner,
could you please help me figure out some things about my fish - what type of
parrot fish he/she is, and what species are compatible?
I bought this sweet little guy/gal at a local pet shop who said he was a blood
red parrot fish (who's been dyed green on the top <--I'd never heard of fish
being dyed before I got him and looked it up) but I'm pretty sure he's isn't a
blood red. I've seen several other fish who actually are blood red parrots (in a
multitude of colors) and he really looks nothing like them. He kind of looks
like a Convict that has lost his stripes and found a green blob to carry around
on his back instead. Other than the fake green, he's totally white. If you need
any more info to figure out what he might be, just email me or something.
As for the second question, what kind of species might he get along with?
He's all alone in his tank for now, which seems to suit him fine since it's a
rather small tank, but I was thinking that in a month or so I'd move him up to
a ten gallon and that maybe that would be a good opportunity to introduce
him to a new tank mate (he's less than an inch long now).
Thanks so much for your time and help!

Answer
Hi, Can you send me a picture of him? You can post the picture at this site(which is mine but you have to register in order to put pics on the site)
http://z10.invisionfree.com/WWFA . He might be scarred because of the small tank which will turn him white. The dye might also turn him off color. Other parrot fish would be fine to keep with him as they are more neat to have with others of their kind. You can also put some chiclids with him. Wait till he gets older though. hope this help and cant wait to see the pics!
