Question
hi, i heard that a varitety in food is good for fish, is this true? if it is, would a mixture between tropical color enhancers, and dried blood worms be a good combonation?
thanks in advance, meg.

Answer
Hi Meg,

I feed mine the color pellets and bloodworms.  I throw something odd in once a week, ie: a couple shrimp pellets or some dried tubiflex.  It keeps them very healthy and yes, I do agree that it is best to vary their food.  We typically don't have just one kind of fish in a tank, right?  Well, all fish don't require the same things to keep themselves fit.  Variation gives everyone a chance to eat the proper diet, or as close to it as we can get in captivity.

Happy fish-keeping!
