Question
Just wanted to find out if large enough goldfish(exp)Ryukin,Oranda,etc.,will eat Otocincluses or are goldfish not carnivores whatsoever.

Answer
Hi Scott;

Goldfish will eat anything it can get in it's mouth, as most fish will. It doesn't matter if it's animal or vegetable. ;-)

Otocinclus are tropical fish so they shouldn't be in your cold water goldfish tank anyway. Otos need their water to be over 72f all the time. Goldfish need it under 72f. If your goldfish are in a heated tank, they really shouldn't be. It's hard on their organs and their immune systems on a long term basis.
