Questionokay, i have a 30 gallon tank with about...5 different pairs of fish & a snail. i feed them regular tropical fish food but i ran out so i started using Granules and they love it. i feed them every morning and a little at night. Once i noticed some little wormy things swimming around in my fish tank and then i looked closer and they were all over my glass and on my rocks. i dont know what to do but my mom is making me clean out my fish tank COMPLETELY and cleaning out my rocks and all that. i heard about this vacuum thing for your rocks and if that would keep me from spending an hour and a half doing something when i could be doing something else, please tell me! =]
AnswerHello Katie,
So this sounds like an external parisite which can be removed with a bottle of liquid you by at the store. There is a number of different products you can use, and they vary from store to store. Are they very little, and almost a see-threw looking worm? If they are I would suggest purchasing a bottle of external and internal parasite killer as soon as possible. These worms are able to get into the fishes gills and mouth and can cause irritation and infection.
If I can help you further or if you have any other questions feel free to ask!
Thanks,
Exp Michael M.
