Beta compatable fish

Chris,

We have a 3gal tank that has been set up about 6 to 7 months.  There is a reoccuring green alge on the sides of the tank.  

We have 1 beta and 5 red tails.

My question:
Is there a sucker fish that is compatable with the beta, that would help keep the tank clean.
