fish pregnancy

Question
This is Steven. I wanted to know if my fish was pregnant. It is a goldfish. There is also another goldfish and a much smaller guppy. The goldfish I think is pregnant is much fatter than the other one. When it swims, it swims a little and then floats back down to the bottom. The goldfish, I assume, are 0-2 years old. Today is April 26 so I wanted to know if the goldfish are in season as well. Thank you

Hi Steven,
 Goldfish are egg layers and cannot get pregnant as such.  A female will get fatter as she loads up on eggs to lay but unfortunately the behavior you describe sounds much more like a sick fish than a female that is full of eggs.
