shredded fins

Question
I have one Betta Siamese fighting fish in my ten gallon tank.  It seems to have shredded fins, but I don't know why this would be happening.  I keep my aquarium temperature at 76 degrees Fahrenheit.  My fish's fins seems to get more and more frail every day!  Please answer quickly.  Thank you.

Hi Quinlan;

He's either being picked on by other fish or he has finrot. If he is in a community tank he may need to be isolated. If alone, it's definately finrot. Here is information on it;
