Ick with baby oscar

Hello I have a 2 inch albino oscar.  It has just recently developed what looks like Ick.  It has white spots all over its body and doesn't seem very active unless it thinks it is going to be fed.  I have heard that salt in the tank can cure it and I was wondering if that was true?  If so should it be iodine free salt, and how much should I use for how long.  I would really appriate any help you may have to give on this.  Thank you for your time.

I am so sorry that i havent replied sooner I have been realy busy.
Anyway to cure ich you need ich medicine wich you can find at your local fish. Follow the dicrections on the bottle of ich medcine to know how much you put in.
