how to get clear water in my tank

I have 15 african chiclids in my 55 gallon tank thats been set up for a week. i can't get the water clear and i've began to do 25% water changes weekly.I had the same problem with my last tank of some months ,what can i do

Hi Darnell,
 You have started with way too many fish.  It takes 6 weeks for a tank to "cycle". You should start a tank with just a couple of fish, then only add more after about 6 weeks.  Now that you are in this situation, what you need to do is perform 25% water changes about every 3 days or so and eventually the water should clear but it may take several weeks.
