Question
Hi, I recently added 5 white Mollies into my 4 ft aquarium, i already have 2 angel fish, 1 plec, 4 rosy barbs, a ruby shark and 11 neons that ive had for quite a while and they all get along great all seem happy, since adding my Mollies one particular one keeps attacking my angel fish (especially the larger marble one, sometimes the smaller blushing angel fish but not often) he doesn't seem to go for any other fish but my angel fish has been so stressed by the molly I'm afraid the stress might kill him and i would be devastated, hes my favourite and so intelligent. please help my first choice would have been to remove the violent fish but my partner keeps saying they will sort it out its fine! but I disagree.
Thanks I appreciate you reading this.

Answer
Hi Carly,
Mollies, and Angel fish do not mix.  Mollies need alkaline water with a little more aquarium salt. Mollies should be in 7.6 - 8.0 PH  Angels need acidic water 6.5 - 7.0PH  Once a fish keeps attacking another fish, they never stop.  Since you prefer the Angels, I would bring back the mollies, and ask for a credit.  Your Angel fish will eventually get very stressed, and sick.  Since these two fish need different water, it would be best to take the mollies back.
Happy New Year!
