Feeding Red Devil

Hi Ron,I have a Red Devil cichlid about 10.5 inches and I was wondering if feeding him meal worms/wax worms would be alright(health wise)any information you can give me would be much appreciated, thank you for your time.   P.S. are u related to Ronnie Coleman the body builder? " it's light weight baby!" take care and hope to hear from you.

 Meal worms should be okay.  Crickets are great.  

 P.S. No relation to Ronnie Coleman :)  I don't do the bodybuilding thing, and I don't think he keeps fish!
