My molly has a lump on its head

My molly has a lump on its head that it just today has developed. Do you know what it means? Could it be sick and if so how would I treat it?

Hi Daniel,
  Fish sometimes get lumps and most often those are some form of cancer. There really isn't anything that you can do about that.
