do goldfish change shape at the back end in any way when their pregnant

Hi Empire,
 Actually goldfish do not get pregnant as such. They are egg layers.  A female will get larger in the belly as she fills with eggs before laying them, if that is what you mean.  However, unless there is a male there to fertilize the eggs after they are laid, they will not hatch.
