My beta fish

Hi Ron,
      My beta fish,{Red}his eyes started turning white the other day. But the white that was on his eyes have spread to his scales. They've started getting lighter day after day. Also his bone is pushing on the side of his body. Is he sick? What do I do?

Hi Katherine,
 Unfortunately that sounds pretty bad.  It sounds like he is either getting very sick or he is getting old.  Bettas do not live very long.
