Bettas and Fantail Goldfish

Question
If i put my male betta in my 3 gallon tank with my 2 fantail goldfish will the betta attack the goldfish? I don't want to lose my goldfish!

Hello Ty-

I really can't say for sure. If the goldfish are bigger than the betta, you can do a "test run," but if the fantails are young and small, I'd wait and let them see each other through the glass first. Usually, bettas can learn to get along with other fish.
