QUESTION: Hi,
You've repeatedly told me that Zebra Danios make great pet fish because they are hardy, but in my experience all 4 died within an hour. My Q:
This happened to me but not you, can you explain this?
AND
How come your fish always last longer then mine?

ANSWER: Hi Manahil,

I can answer those questions honestly.

My fish last longer because I have 35 years of experience.  I have lost MANY fish in my younger years.  It is part of the learning process.

The Danios simply are easy fish but if they died in your care, it's only because you're new at this.  Give it a year or two to learn a lot...you're learning now.  It will take time.

You are learning at leaps and bounds.  You know SO much more now than you used to...I think you should try a couple Danios.  Maybe they will work out for you.  Maybe not!  But, either way, at least you tried and they are extremely cheap to buy, so that's a good thing.
