frogs and crabs?

23 14:03:27

Question
I have a 10 gallon heated tank with about 1 tablespoon of salt added.  In which
are two small fiddler crabs and some tetras and I was wondering if one or two
african dwarf frogs would fit in alright.  My local chain pet store says it will
work, but they aren't always so well informed. - thanks

Answer
Hi Justone,

I'm sceptical of this. Frogs have a tendency to be lethargic and lazy. They tend to stick to the bottom of the tank. Crabs on the other hand are constantly inquisitive and will investigate anything they come across.

It may well work in the short term, however in the long run I think the frogs will begin to suffer.
