red lump on head of goldfish

I'm not sure what type of goldfish i have, but a few days ago i noticed a red lump on the top of two of the fish and not sure what it is and if there is anything i can do to get it to go away?

Well the lump could be a part of your goldfish's anatomy as it could be an oranda or a lionhead.
