Question
i have a 20 gal freshwater tank-4 angelfish  1 golden & 3 marble-unsure of sex however the golden is repeatidly being bumped by all 3 however l is trying to protect her-from the other two crowding her to the bottom of the tank where she lays upside down for  long periods of time almost as if she is dying- tap the glass & she will swim but not well as tho she's very tired i'm unsure if she is mating i assume she is-but how much abuse can she take she appears weaker @ day-should i isolate her or is this normal behavior.  they are approx. year old 6" all purchased at the same time -from same tank-not an expert at all & would hate to lose her.

Answer
Hi Ginnie,
Sorry but that is not mating.  You need to either remove her from the tank, or add a lot more structure (plants, wood, rock) so she has more hiding places.
