Question
I have this betta named egg I'm in 5th grade(class pet)and he eats ALOT!! when he's hungry, he looks at me when i walk in the door and surfaces when i open his tank to eat, and i think I'm over feeding him and i don't want to kill him by NOT feeding him,but i don't want to keep OVER feeding him. all i want to do is slim him down a little so he's not obese. what should i do???
P.S-do fish exercise? if so how? i need help!!

Answer
Hi Rawr,
Only feed your betta once a day, and then, only a few pellets or flakes. Just because he says he wants food does not mean that you should feed him.  If you do feed him all the time, he will get very fat and this could easily kill him.  Keep in mind how tiny he is, and his stomach is just a small part of him. He needs very little food to keep him alive and be happy and healthy.
