all fish tanks

Question
this question regards all fish bowls(but i one for a beta fish) if i place the bowl near the television will it in someway effect the fish inside, The bowl is only a few inches away. thank you.

The picture and flashes coming from the TV could scare them, and the noise will stress them too. I highly recommend moving them to somewhere quieter.
Also, Bettas prefer a tank of at least 5 Gallons. Bowls are often sold for them but are not suitable for them or any other fish. If possible I would buy a slightly bigger tank, heater and filter for him. You wouldn't believe the amount of questions I get from people who have dying Bettas in a bowl. I don't want you to become one of them.
