i dont no weather i should split them up because i only have and very small tank and not sure what to do

Answer
Hi Kaitlyn;

She's probably been having babies and they both eat them. In a small tank it's probably better that way because it can quickly become overcrowded. The male is simply trying to breed with her all the time, as male guppies do and he can really tire her out. She could get sick if she doesn't get some rest. That's why it is best to have at least two females per male. The females get a break every so often that way. Get a 10 gallon tank with a filter, get an extra female or two and put lots of live plants in it for expectant moms and babies to hide in. Then.....watch for babies in the next few weeks!
