is my betta dying

Question
I recently left my betta with my grandmother over my two day vacation. When I returned the water was so cloudy you couldn't even see through it. I just changed my betta's water, and now it appered my betta is having seziures. It is flopping around on it's side, and trying to jump out of the water. What did I do wrong?

Its in shock. Get your water warm, put it near a lamp, you want it around 80 degrees, do partial water changes every 5 days, 1/4th the water. make sure you are keeping him warm. I would also consider feeding your betta boiled peas with the cover removed. This will help any internal 'indigestion' also.

Doesnt sound like you did anything wrong. Oddly enough it sounds like you either had a bloom of bacteria, or he was over fed alot
