overly bloated fish

my poor gf is stuck floating on top of the water. the huge bubble on his side stomach has a red color on it. called fish store and gave pellets instead of flakes, not working. it's a huge mass on him. what can i do

Hi Kyle,
 Unfortunately I don't think that there is anything you can do about something like that.  Feeding him different foods isn't going to make a difference.  Sorry.
