FIGHTING FISH CHANGING COLOR

Question
I HAVE A BLUE FIGHTING FISH IN A SMALL VASE CONTAINER THAT IS CHANGING COLOR IN HIS HEAD (TO A REDISH-WHITE).  iS THERE ANYTHING THAT I CAN DO TO AVOID THIS FROM HAPPENING?
THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.

Answer
Gaby,
Fish will sometimes change color when they are stressed or ill.
Make sure his water is warm (between 75-85 degrees F, he is a tropical fish!), keep his water clean by changing it out twice a week, don't over or underfeed him (around 3-5 pellets a day is fine, and make sure they are betta pellets), and make sure you are using tap water conditioner.
