Filter too strong

Question
I have just acquired a 70 litre fish tank and have one small baby goldfish (about 3cm)  I just purchased the aqua one maxi 102F filter on advise from the shop owner but it seems too powerful and the fish is constantly swimming against it, it says it filters up to 500L per hour is this too powerful for this tank or will the fish get used to it.

thanks

Answer
Hi Marcus

That is much too strong of a filter for your size tank. I would consider removing it and replacing it with a Penguin 100B hang on back power filter. Internal filters are not suitable for aquariums. They cause many problems both with strong currents and fish getting caught in them.

Hope this helps, good luck!
