parrot cichlid

hello !! my daughter has two orange  parrot cichlids and has had couple of years !! i am pet sitting and have noticed past couple days that these two a male and female usually hang together all the time !! but one of them has been off by itself in a car my daughter has in tank !! am concerned and not normal behavior for them !! they did mate last month but babies not live !! was a surprise when that happened ! please help ok?? thanx !! may i add that one being reclusive now was interacting with tank scavenger cat fish yesterday and i f ound that bit strange too !!! wait for answer soon ??

Hi Pauline,
 Hmmm... it is hard to say without seeing them, but it is very possible that the female has some eggs or babies in the "car".  There isn't anything you need to do about this other than watch and see what happens.
