curved head

my betta has been laying on the bottom of the tank and when he swims up (very
rare) his head is ALWAYS curved and i need help please

Darren,                                                      I am soooo sorry it sounds like he has dropsy. Treat his tank with malefix for a week.In the meantime do Epsom salt baths two times a day 15 minutes at a time. It is 1 tblspoon to 3 gallons. Make sure it is the same or close to his tank temp. Also a frozen pea a day squeezed for a week. If he makes it and this is all over a pea a week. This is caused by not being able to relieve himself of liquid wastes and is mostly fatal , but not always... Good Luck, Tina
