are these fish compatble and how much in a 5 gal tank

ok I have a 5 gallon tank and right now I just have an African dwarf frog in it but I'm thinking on adding in my crown beta that just have in fish bowl into the tank and maybe going and to buy some platties, and some fancy guppies are they compatible and how much of each can really do. this is my very first aquarium

Hi Cindy,
 I think the betta would be much happier in the 5 gallon tank than in the bowl.  However, 5 gallons is not a huge amount of space so I wouldn't add other fish in there as well.
