help with my molly

Hi,Darryl I have a great fish tank with dalmatian mollys that keep having babies my question is the female molly that is almost due her eyes are bulging out i am concerned I have not seen this do you Know what its about she looks like one of those puffy eye goldfish please help thanks Sheila

Hey Sheila,

Sounds like a mid stage pop eye infection. Treat immediately, if you begin treating after fry are born, they are likely to die as result. A simple anti bacterial treatment that specifically includes pop eye and eye cloud should cover it, as well as bulk up the fry's ability to resist water changes and the stress that results of them.
