Budgie Babies

Question
My budgies recently hatched 4 babies.  My first question is how old should the babies be before you start handling them.  Second, the last one that hatched is still significantly smaller then the other babies and is sometimes pushed off to the side, away from the bundle.  If this continues to happen and he doesn't seem to be getting bigger or healthy, should i take him out of the box and start hand feeding him?  Thanx

Hi Kate, yes if this contuiens do take him out and hand feed him or you can just feed him wipe him off and put him backa few times a day to be sure hes getting enough food. Unless your handfeeding I'd leave everyone alone until there 2 weeks as they will have some feathers in at this time and will be alot less fragile.
