Budgies Wing

My daughter's new budgie has been folding and unfolding his wing.  He has also been "preening" under this wing when he does this.  When he is sitting still the wing still seems to be trembling.  He was doing back flips while holding on to the bars of his cage and twisting himself around.  Could this have hurt him?  Thanks.  Jo

If you are concerned that your budgie is injured, you need to get her to an avian vet.

Even if you don't think the wing is injured, this would be a good time to take your bird in for his/her new bird exam (if you haven't done so already). And, it is better to be safe than sorry.
