A budgie and a cockatiel in the same cage

Question
I have a budgie in one cage and a cockatiel in a second cage...I put the 2 cages side by side and they appear to be staying as close to each other as possible!
Should I try putting them together in one cage for company?

Hello again Maureen, I don't reccomend putting diferent types of parrots togerther, they may be sitting close when in different cages but together if one doesnt like the other touching the others toys or dishes they may get into a fight with very messy results.
