Bird chewing

My 5 year old cockatiel, Georgia Rae, loves to hang out on my shoulder. However when she does, she also Loves to tug and chew on my diamond earring.
Other than taking it out, any ideas?

The other idea would be not to let her on your shoulder. :)

Unfortunately, birds love to chew, especially shiny/sparkly items that they shouldn't!

I've seen some products like necklaces that are actually bird toys. You could try getting one of these, so that you can try and distract her with toys that are appropriate for her to chew on (while she is on your shoulder).
