how can i tell if my baby cocketiel is a male or female?

There are really only two ways to tell for sure the sex of a bird.  The first way is by having a DNA test done.  It is an inexpensive test, and you'll get the results back in about a week.  The other way takes more time, but there is no cost.  You can wait and see if the bird lays eggs.
