cockatiels and other birds

Question
can i put my male cockatiel in my aviary with a princess parrot or a loriceat? i have finches and may be getting a male singing canery. will they be ok woth eachother? (i take my cockatiel, elmo in at night coz he's my baby!)

Hello Ellie and thank you for your post.
How big is your aviary?  If the aviary is big enough, you might be able to put Elmo in with the other parrots, just be sure to keep a close eye on them.  If they start to fight you'll have to seperate them.  At first they will get their "pecking order" and may push each other around a bit, but once the pecking order is established they may get along.
As for the finches and the canary being housed together, it is not a good idea to ouse them together.  Canaries can get a bit territorial, and may kill the finches.
