am looking to buy a ringneck parakeet its 7 months old .. its not trained is it too old to be tought to talk and be tame?

Hi,
No he/she is not too old, but you are facing a lot of work. You will be bitten, and need to gain the birds trust, go through a bluffing stage, more biting, screaming, etc. BUT after a while and persistence you could end up with the perfect pet. Now, I encourage you to REALLY REALLY investigate dietary needs, cage size requirements, etc.
