Question

marwari horses
hello sir, are marwari horses stronger than thoroughbreds?? marwari horses are suitable for what type of work??

Answer
Hi Caine,
Strength is relative as to what the horse is going to be used for. Thoroughbreds are bred to run. So yes they would be stronger in that aspect. However, the Marwari is bred for other purposes, so they could be stronger in another field.
So, asking if one is stronger than the other is unfair to the breed.
The Marwari was bred to be a draft/agriculture horse. It also makes an excellent riding/packing animal.  They normally stand 15-16 hands and have a natural ambling gait liken to a pace.
