Since i got my breaded dragon he has never drank from his water bowl, i wanted to know how i could get him to??? also lately his mouth has been open alot, is that normal??

Hello Louie,

What are the temperatures in the tank & what type of thermometer are you using to measure the temperatures?  Gaping is fairly normal as it is the way they release heat.  The basking temperatures need to be in a range of 95-110 with a cool end of around 78-82.
Normally they don't drink out of water dishes.  You can train him to drink from a plastic dropper as well.
Do you have a screen top?  If so, you can try placing an ice cube on top of the screen over the water dish so when it gradually melts it drips onto the water dish.  If it is not moving, they wont usually drink from it.  

Let me know how he is doing.  Take the water bowl at night, especially if he is young, so he doesn't fall asleep & drown in the water.
